when you are writing wiki-style notes, you don’t have to make it authoritative. these notes are just like a compendium, and should be treated as such. when one grows too big, you can split it off into multiple notes
every once in a while, it’s a good idea to add some structure to these compendiums — this is where topics come in handy
importantly, wiki notes should be related to primary sources and cite primary sources
