N-way ANOVA, where , describes statistical significance testing of N main factors on a dependent variable .
How many factors?
A one-way ANOVA will just test all effects combined. Two, or more, way ANOVA will test the main effects and interaction effect as contrasts in a Contrast Analysis.
In a two-or-more-way ANOVA, partial Eta Square values will be reported (as opposed to eta square), which are preferred as measures of effect size.
