Dopamine precursor
Increase thyroid hormone (watch out!)
May increase risk of skin cancer (ref2)

Possibly good to take with L-Tryptophan as it competes with tyrosine for space across BBB, preventing saturation of endothelial cells. L-Tryptophan is also precursor to serotonin
